Sharon DesJardins
Administrative Manager
Behavioral Health Division – Oahu Sharon DesJardins joined Helping Hands Hawaii in 2001, as Benefits Specialist in the Human Resources Department. She was appointed Administrative Manager of the Behavioral Health Division in 2003. Sharon brings to HHH, thirty years of diverse experience. Prior to her relocation to Hawaii, she was a Human Resource Specialist for nine years with a mainland school district. Her experience includes; Executive Assistant, Accounting Supervisor, Sales Supervisor, and Office Management. Her volunteer contributions include: - Eight years with a church high school youth group
- Five years as music leader for the California Youth Authority Boy’s
Institution - Three years of leading music and visiting the elderly at Rest Homes Sharon believes that all people deserve to be treated with dignity, regardless of their physical or mental being. Of all the employment opportunities Hawaii offered, Sharon chose to work for a company that makes a difference in the lives of people. She has found personal gratification with Helping Hands Hawaii.
