Susan Furuta
Vice President, Human Resources

Susan has over 18 years of Human Resources management experience, primarily in hospitality, retail and non-profit human service industries. Susan joined Helping Hands Hawaii in 2001 to oversee Human Resources and develop organizational improvements in labor related areas. She is 3rd in command of operations and also serves as the agency's Safety Officer and HIPAA Privacy Officer. 

Susan earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Hawaii with major coursework in Human Development. She is a national and local chapter member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
