“I worked in the corporate environment for all of my career, and it always left me feeling unfulfilled. The transition to Helping Hands Hawai‘i gives me a career where I truly feel happy.”

Tara is responsible for logistical support for property maintenance, repairs, inventory management, and capital projects. She supports the onboarding for new staff and volunteers, helps to build donor and volunteer relations, and assists with special events.

She is a graduate of Aiea High School and Leeward Community College, where she received an A.S. in Accounting.

Fun Fact: Tara is a big-time movie buff, especially 80s movies. Some of her favorites are “Labyrinth,” “Beetlejuice,” “The Money Pit,” and “Uncle Buck.”
