Adopt a Family 2025: Share the Spirit of the Holidays

The holiday season is a time for giving, and our Adopt a Family (AAF) event helps ensure that families and seniors facing hardship in Hawaii can celebrate with joy and dignity. This year, we’re working hard to make sure everyone feels the warmth of community support.
Our 2025 goal is to connect 550 families with generous donors, including at least 100 single seniors or senior couples. Together, we can make this holiday season brighter for those who need it most.

Each ornament represents a heartfelt wish from an individual or family in need. Pick an ornament, purchase the gift listed, and return it to the same location to make that wish come true.

Donors are the heart of Adopt a Family. By sponsoring a family or senior, you provide holiday gifts and household essentials that bring comfort and hope.
Registration opens: Wednesday, October 1
Deadline to register: Monday, November 10

For Volunteers: Be Part of the Magic
It takes hundreds of volunteers to make Adopt a Family possible. Whether it’s answering phones, sorting donations, or helping with distribution, your time and energy bring this seasonal event to life.
- November: Organize the warehouse, sort donations, and shop for unmatched families
- December: Receive donor gifts, sort and distribute items, and assist at client distribution events
