Helping Hands Hawai‘i recently stopped by HI Now Daily to share more about Santa’s Summer Shake-Up, our Christmas in July Dance-A-Thon benefiting local families.
In the first segment, President and CEO Susan Furuta joined several of this year’s Zumba instructors to talk about the inspiration behind the event, how it supports Helping Hands Hawai‘i programs, and why bringing the community together through movement and giving back is so important.
The fun continued in the second segment as our instructors got everyone moving with a lively Zumba demonstration alongside the HI Now Daily hosts, giving viewers a preview of the energy and excitement participants can expect on July 25.

What to Expect
Participants are invited to wear holiday-themed attire, such as red and green workout gear, Santa hats, or other festive accessories.
Stick around for fun giveaways donated by instructors and community supporters.
We will also be collecting new, unwrapped gifts at the event to support Helping Hands Hawai‘i’s Adopt a Family holiday event.
